I was thinking about this yesterday, I think Trump may get impeached and removed. And that's a very bold prediction to make because someone
says that every fricking time a new president takes office. I remember protesters calling for Obama's impeachment. Like what was Obama doing? Impeachment is the primary check on the president's power and there's a lot of visibility on anything the president does, and so as soon as the president does something unpopular, people start calling for impeachment.
That being said, some of the policies that Trump is pursuing are not desired even by the Republicans supporting him. A light example is "Gulf of America"—that's something that came out of Trump's head that no one was asking for. And Trump got it done because he has supporters, he has people who will execute on his vision. And "Gulf of America" isn't a big deal, doesn't matter. A more serious issue though, is annexing Canada.
If Trump has surrounded himself with people who will unquestioningly execute his vision, then I predict there will be at least one major issue that has bipartisan disapproval. The odds of impeachment are still at that point small—the timing would have to be just about perfect—but I think it's feasible.
